What we do differently

The big-box answer to a broken laptop is usually to ship it away for a few weeks and swap the whole motherboard — for close to the price of a new machine. We don't work that way.

Everything happens here, on our bench in Toronto. We diagnose the real fault, then repair it at the component level — re-soldering a loose power jack, doing BGA rework on a video chip, bringing a liquid-damaged board back to life. Because the work stays in-house, your laptop is never shipped out, and your files stay with your machine.

When a part is the better answer, we fit OEM parts from our own stock — keyboards, screens, adapters, batteries and jacks for every major brand. And if a repair genuinely isn't worth it, we'll tell you, and we can buy the laptop for cash and return your hard drive.
