A dead laptop, a spill, or no picture on screen usually comes down to the motherboard. Instead of swapping the whole board for the price of a new laptop, we repair it at the component level — chip by chip.
Most laptop board failures fall into one of three buckets. Here's how we approach each — and what to expect.

Liquid spilled on the board
Water, coffee, juice, milk, or wine — we inspect the damaged areas and, depending on the condition, about 80% of liquid-damaged boards can be saved. Spills often take the keyboard with them; if so, we fit a brand-new one from stock at the same time, in the colour and finish to match.

Dead board, no activity at all
Usually a power surge or overheating. We troubleshoot the board with proper equipment and up-to-date schematics to find the failed components and replace them. Most dead-board repairs take 2 to 3 days.

No display or a scrambled picture
When the laptop powers on but the screen stays black or shows a distorted image, it's usually a loose or shorted BGA video chip or video memory. We do BGA rework or replacement on the chip to bring the picture back.
We also handle the smaller board-level jobs that big-box shops send away: USB and charging port repair, cooling and thermal service, and touchpad replacement. Every job starts with a free diagnosis and a written estimate, and — because it all happens here — your laptop never leaves the shop.
